Curious Cup

Another beautiful collaboration is now in our hands. Sunčica Jerković is an academic painter from Split and co-founder of Bura Ceramics. Her work is graceful and delicate: dreamy Mediterranean plants and animals wandering across her peaceful clay. Peaceful - that may be the best word for what she makes. Calming.

Sunčica says she uses her craft to remind people of the nature - of trees, animals and all that quietly holds our world together. Of what is vital, and what deserves our care.

And then there is Koko, her tuxedo cat (there is always a tuxedo cat!), who stole our hearts instantly :))))
